We are a 4th generation painting contractor in existence since 1920 with a commitment to providing superior quality and customized commercial painting solutions.
Patrick's great grandfather began painting locomotives at Baldwin Locomotive Plant in 1930. At the height of the Great Depression, he was laid off and began painting repossessed homes for Providence (NY) Corn Exchange Bank Trust Company (now Chase Bank). Patrick's grandfather, Robert Gillin took over the company in 1956, with a new focus on residential interior and exterior painting services. Robert's son Harry, Patrick's father, took on the residential painting business in 1970 and grew the company's reputation for quality service as well as historic house renovation projects along the Main Line. In 2002, Meghan and Patrick took over the company. Today, Gillin Services provides commercial painting and protective coating services for various Military, Government, Commercial, and Industrial buildings in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, D.C., Virginia, and West Virginia.

We are a long-term supporter of the Boys and Girls Club of America and believe in helping to enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.

Certifications & Safety:
We have completed projects across the country and managed many high-profile requests. Our staff is trained to identify Environmental & Aspects and Impacts as stated in ISO14000. Our teams have been trained to identify potential problems and/or hazards, as well as to take the appropriate actions to correct them. The Gillin Services team is certified in lead abatement and we have abatement supervisors on staff. We have completed training to be OSHA-certified, completed the NSC First Aid Course and the NSC CPR Course. We know that working on government facilities is intense and often requires us to work in dangerous environments, so having these safety certifications is necessary and confirms our commitment to professionalism.
